Self-Belief and Determination
The seeds of David's ambition were sown early on, inspired by a neighbor and an internet cafe owner. Despite facing numerous challenges, including a lack of access to computer courses and certificates, David's resolve never wavered. He took the initiative to teach himself coding and computer skills, a decision that would lay the foundation for his future success.
David's early career saw him working at an internet cafe, where he honed his troubleshooting skills and improved his English. His time at a secretariat bureau further developed his touch typing skills. However, it was his passion for teaching and sharing knowledge that truly set him apart. This passion led to the creation of a non-profit initiative, You Inspire You, aimed at teaching computer and business skills to underprivileged communities.
Resilience in the Face of Challenge
Although the initiative did not achieve the impact David had hoped for, it sparked the idea for Ablestate Creatives Limited, founded in 2019. The company focuses on providing technology and business education while generating income to support their teaching efforts. David's journey was not without obstacles. From finding committed business partners to overcoming resistance from the registrar, his resilience and perseverance have been key to his success. His story is a testament to the importance of staying committed to one's goals, even in the face of adversity. David and a pastor friend remained steadfast in their mission, eventually registering the company as Ablestate Creatives Limited.
A Mission Rooted in Empowerment
Ablestate is more than just a training ground for web developers and IT specialists. It's a nurturing environment where young minds are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in the digital age. With a focus on empathy and compassion, David has created a space where individuals are not only trained but also uplifted, building their self-esteem and confidence. This approach has already impacted around 150 people through social media and online training, with a dedicated team of five full-time employees and one intern driving the mission forward.

David's vision extends beyond the borders of Uganda. He envisions Ablestate as a globally recognized institution that empowers young people and provides them with job opportunities. To achieve this, the organization is actively engaging with potential collaborators like the Africa Leadership Institute and MTN Uganda Limited. These partnerships hold the promise of expanding Ablestate's reach and impact, creating a community where individuals can genuinely appreciate themselves and strive for excellence.

David's leadership style is a testament to his commitment to personal well-being and growth. He emphasizes the importance of self-care, advocating for practices like getting enough sleep, taking walks, meditating, and playing the guitar.
